The group is an active member of the spanish “Geometry, Mechanics and Control” (GMC) Network, supported by Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación through the Project RED2018-102541-T.

The Network focuses on the field of Geometric Mechanics, which is a meeting point for several disciplines such as Geometry, Analysis, Algebra, or Partial Diferential Equations. Geometric Mechanics is a growing research area with fruitful connections with other disciplines such as Nonlinear Control Theory, Numerical Analysis and Mathematical Physics.

The organization of this network is based in on-going collaborations that have already been materialized in publications and joint activities between the different groups participating in the network. This fact guarantees the feasibility of the project, which incorporates at the same time some young researchers, who have received an excellent preparation in well-known research centers and who proportionate the network a guaranty of continuity for future activities.
